Through our website, golghar.org, we’ve had the honour of sending authentic Banarasi sarees and fabrics to customers across India and around the world — wrapped with care and the soul of our city. And now, 5 years later, that digital dream has found its physical form — in the very place that inspired it all: Golghar, Varanasi.

Golghar, Varanasi is not only our home — it is the heart of the Banarasi weaving industry. A hub where artisans, families, and traditions have come together for centuries to create magic with thread and hand. Here, in these very lanes, our family has been part of this tradition since 1966, serving as manufacturers and wholesalers of Banarasi sarees for over three generations. It was only right that our first-ever brick-and-mortar store opened right here — in the place where our story began.
